An absolute gem in the heart of Madrid!
If you visit Madrid and don’t make a stop at Arrocería Marina Ventura, you are truly missing out! Tucked in the charming Barrio de Las Letras, this restaurant is everything you hope for when you’re craving authentic Spanish rice and paella done right.
We ordered the seafood paella and it was perfection — beautifully cooked rice, incredibly fresh ingredients, and flavors that were rich and satisfying without being overwhelming. The portions were generous and every bite felt like a celebration of Mediterranean cooking.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting — cozy wooden beams, an intimate vibe, and just the right energy for a memorable dinner. And a special shoutout to our server Yenni, who was absolutely the best! She was attentive, warm, and made the whole experience feel even more special. The kind of service that makes you want to come back just for that alone.
One tip: make a reservation — this place fills up fast for good reason! Prices are very reasonable for the quality you receive, and the wine selection pairs beautifully with the food.

The reviews I read were spot on. Our first and only paella experience and everything hit. The seafood paella with mussels, clams, shrimp, prawns was flavorful with all the seafood cooked nicely.
Gabriel was a wonderful host, clarifying information and making a great dessert recommendation of the French toast dessert (torrijas) and it capped off the dinner perfectly. We also ordered the lemon sorbet (too good, my daughter wouldn’t share 😂) as well as the cheesecake. What a satisfying evening. We highly recommend.

A really nice lunch after a walk in the botanic garden. Many choices of starters and many types of paellas. We ordered grilled cuttlefish which was incredible and the other fried starters were also good. The paella was quite big and the seafood cooked well. Really recommend it!

The dining experience at Arroceria Ventura was the best in our week visiting Madrid. The environment was welcoming, the service on point and the food was extraordinary! While all the servers were attentive, Judith was a standout and the manager, Jose, set the tone for excellence.

Omg, this place has a modernized take on all the regional paella. Tasty rice along with meats and seafood that’s cooked just right. They do rice really well. Tapas are pretty well done too. A definite must go restaurant in Madrid. Great desserts too!

Fantastic ambience, even better food! Delicious rice dishes “a su punto” with a great menu to choose from. The fact that they specialise means they have honed their craft finely: a favourite arrocería. Charming service, good wines, nicely presented and above all the food is excellent! Thank you and see you next time I’m in Madrid.

My partner and I loved this restaurant. The service is super attentive and it’s a cozy ambiance. We ordered the seafood paella which was soo good! Also like everyone says you must try the sangria! Oh and make a reservation online. Definitely coming back to this place when we return to Madrid 🙂
